iCooker 4 Sided Cheese Grater

I love getting new products to try out. As a mom of two daughters and a very busy husband who travels extensively for work, I am always on the look out for new products to try that might in fact make a difference in the work, busy moms and wives are challenged to undertake.

iCooker has come out with a smaller version of the 4 Sided Cheese Grater. It has on each of the 4 sides, a slicer, a zester, a fine up and down grater and your standard grater. Not only that it measures about 10 inches high, is stain-less steel and for the me, the best part is a life time warranty. Men have their Craftsman line of tools and for women, I am always on the hunt for lifetime warranty products.

Not only does this grate cheese, like Parmesan and zest your citrus fruits, but you can even use it for chocolate to make all those fancy chocolate swirls, and even to grate nuts, slice pepperoni for pizza. I love that it fits on the top shelf of your dishwater and is super easy to clean. For me, having young girls and teens, sometimes, bigger is not always better. This is the perfect size for anyone to use and be comfortable with. The compact size also allows it to fit in most places your standard size grater doesn't. The handle is comfortable and it sits on a rubber base to prevent sliding.

Game Day - MyGetTogether

Just wanted to share our incredible get together that was hosted in part by General Mills and Chex Mix Snacks yesterday!

We invited some of my daughters friends over for "Game Day" this weekend now with much cooler temps and believe it or not, a three hour thunderstorm. For us here in the high desert, that is reason to celebrate! So staying indoors and having fun was something we all wanted to do and making it fun was better the more people who stopped by.



The wonderful folks at General Mills were kind enough to get our party going with a generous supply of Chex Mix snacks and a wonderful Chex bowl to keep the snacking going! We had three wonderful flavors to sample, with one being the traditional Chex Mix always a family favorite in our home, Turtle Chex Mix, which is a chocolate and caramel blend, and Honey Chex Mix which is now our new favorite featured a blend of sweet and salty!



Topped that off with some pizzas from our local pizza place and some drinks and we were all set for a night of fun. We started off with some family favorites like Monopoly and then we all opted for a fun game called Catch Phrase. After the snacks and pizzas we all settled down for some family DVD's before finally calling it a night.

The best part of it was having all the teens sample the Chex Mix and hands down the favorite was the Honey Chex Mix. Every guest left with a handful of coupons to get their favorite flavors for our next party or sooner in another month. We also love having friends over for a fun day of snacks, games and quality time.
