She's Gone Country - Giveaway and Review

What do you get with a New York fashion model who finds herself recently on the verge of a divorce after finding out her husband of 17 years is gay?

You do what Shey Lynn Darcy does, you take your three teenage boys and leave New York for the comforts of moving in to your old ranch house in Texas and figure things out. Here you have the love and comfort of your older brothers Brick and Blue who want nothing more than to help you out and make sure that you are well taken care of.

However what complicates things even more besides trying to raise three teenage boys on her own, is the fact that the one man she has loved her entire life, has moved back to town, now recently divorced and looking far better than he does at 45 than when you were 16.

Twenty two years have passed since Shey and Dane Kelly have seen one another. When she does happen to run into him at the local diner, this one rugged three time championship bull rider, now walks with a limp and a cane after a horrible accident in the ring one night ends his career as a pro bull rider on the circuit.

Yet despite his injury, Shey still has the passion once more to realize that even though so much time has passed her feelings for Dane have grown more stronger in their absence. The only thing preventing her from falling for him once again, is the fact that her brothers Blue and Brick are feuding with Dane since the death of their younger brother Cody, whom they feel Dane is to blame in his death.

Will Shey be able to handle working out the differences with her brothers and Dane? Will she fall for Dane again even after all these years? Will her ex husband John Darcy take sole custody of her kids unless she moves back to New York?

The answer to these questions and even more are found within the pages of a great new romance story by Jane Porter called She's Gone Country. I received this book compliments of Hachette Book Group for my honest review and being a country girl at heart, I fell in love with all the characters of the book from Shey to even her sister's in law.

This book rates a solid 5 out of 5 stars and makes you realize that love isn't really gone if you are willing to give it a second chance. This book is available in paperback and eBook formats.
