Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Makeup

For those of you that know me, I am a 46 years young mom of two that is always looking for something to hide my discoloration in my skin tone now that I am aging more in my later years.

As a BzzAgent I had the delight to be offered the opportunity to review the make-up I've seen Ellen DeGeneres sponsoring for quite some time. Even my oldest daughter asked me in Target one day while comparing make up for aging skin, "I wonder if that stuff works Mom?"

Little did we know that later that week when I logged into my account that I would have the opportunity to do just that. I was asked to review the CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless makeup line.

At first, I was asked to select my foundation color and that was it. A week later, to my surprise, my box arrived. Only expecting the foundation, which would have been just fine, I found an eye corrector, an eye concealer, blush and the foundation. OOOhhh! I was so excited for morning to arrive so I could try it.

After my morning shower, I followed the instructions, using the eye corrector to eliminate all those tell tale dark circles. Then I used the eye concealer to hide all those imperfections around my eyes like all the dark spots from being out in the sun too many years.

Then I added the foundation which comes with the sponge pad, concealed in the makeup base to keep it clean. What a great way to keep it when traveling. The foundation went on smooth and cool, like a butter and really did a great job giving me a consistent skin tone from the top of my face to my neckline. I was impressed!

Last I added the sculpting blush again with the sponge applicator concealed in the bottom and being the first time using a creme based blush I was in LOVE!! It made me look like I had just spent a little time in the sun without feeling heavy or clogging my pores.

When I finished not only did my husband comment for the first time, how great my make up looked but even my daughter and friends wanted to know what I did to my face. It really does look amazing.

This is my new all time favorite makeup and well worth the money. This make up line is the 2009 Beauty Insiders Choice award winner from Cosmetic Executive Women Inc. Here are more details about the product line:

  2. Every time I see the commercial with Ellen I always wonder if it really works. Now I know. I am super excited that your husband commented on how great you looked. Men don't usually notice things like that so I bet that made you really happy. It's nice when they see a change. It must be a very good make up, not that you needed it, but that a man would notice it. Love it. I may just give it a try next time.

    Thanks Kat!

  6. Found you! You put a different web address in my comment section than what it really is. Oh, and I found out about another company that sends out books for free for review that you might want to check out. It's booksneeze.com - I know, odd name. Might be worth looking at though. :o) Congrats on the new site!
