The Skin Map - Review

The Skin Map by Stephen R. Lawhead – My Review ~

Don’t judge a book by its cover! After seeing the cover of the book I wasn’t quite sure what to think about it until I read the back of the book and was intrigued about the premise. I am so thrilled that I decided to give the book it’s due and could not put it down once I started reading! I LOVE the story lines about the characters involved and how they make their own part of history as their lives unfold throughout jumping through the lay lines in time and place.

It's like time travel in a whole unique way that I've never encountered until now. Imagine a way to keep a map that enables you to locate invisible pathways that exist in our world that remain unseen through a map that you tattoo on your skin. Only the legends and symbols are unique so that only you can reveal the clues as you need them, and not have to worry about someone stealing this from you. To others it simply looks like a unique and mysterious tattoo!

This has been one of my favorite books this year and I just loved unlocking each chapter as I read along the story line. Kit wants so desperately to find himself, while Wilhelmina really seems to find her stride and starts to love her life during the time in which she arrived. I can’t go into too much detail without giving the book away.

I received this book complimentary from Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy for my honest review and must say without giving away too much, this one is a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. I have kept this one for my personal permanent library as well. Can’t wait to read it again and again. Thank you so much for such a thrilling and riveting book! 1. Hi Kat Sweetie...
Oh does this ever sound great. I think I will have to invest in this one. If you love it, then I know I must have it.

I have read all my books, and keep watching for a few more to come. I have turned into one of those robots that needs more input, input, input.

I so envy you being able to review for so many writers. What a great way to get good books to read. I love it. You have the best job of all.

I hope you are well. I miss You sweet friend. I have been a little under the weather, and am trying to pull myself back up again. Can we have tea tonight? I will bring the banana nut bread.
Love ya girl. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
