Earth Is Not Alone

In the future the world as we know it will be changed in unimaginable ways. An electromagnetic pulse (EMP) has impacted Earth and rendered all microchips useless. No cars, no cell phones, no computers and in most cases no power at all. Thanks to modern technology advancing so exponentially we have harmed ourselves in the process of making life faster, now that life and technology we have come to depend on, is no longer working.

The cities have been plunged into complete darkness. Each small sector of a city will need to conserve everything it has to make it through the day. Small ham radio operators attempt to see just how widespread this EMP has affected Earth but nothing at all outside their small city is communicating.

In order to keep things from spiraling out of control, the cities will need to protect their own boundaries and do all it can to keep whatever supplies they have, food, water, and resources to survive, safe until order can be restored. No one knows just how long they will have. Barter is now the way to get what one needs. Money is worthless.

Yet life is struggling to move forward. Trina and Michael are accused by their teacher Mr. Cample of cheating on an assignment. He has instructed them to write a story but to not discuss it among themselves. However both of them seem to have similar stories even though they rarely have spoken outside of school. These haunting similar stories will begin to slowly unravel a multi-dimensional world within the one we have come to know on Earth. While each is writing about something that is familiar to them, little do they realize that their stories may not just be imaginary at all.

In the newest novel by John Knapp II, Earth Is Not Alone, we learn about different planets outside of our own solar system that exist in other dimensions. This science fiction book about the future of our planet takes an interesting look at what would happen if life existed on other planets much like it does on Earth and wonders if Jesus died for us, is it possible He also was present on theirs as well since God is the creator of all that exists. So wouldn't it stand to reason that Jesus would save their lives as well? But how does one explain it all?

I received the first in a series The Emryss Chronicles by John Knapp II, Earth Is Not Alone for my honest review and must say, this is the first time, I would pause and consider the things that John brings up in this wonderful Science Fiction novel. Could life exist on other planets much like we have it here on Earth and if so, what is Christianity like there as well? What would happen if someone from that dimension were to wind up here, looking and acting just like us? What an adventure this book took me on. I LOVED it and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a change in your standard Christian fiction books talking about the future of what is yet to come. A definite 5 star rating!!!

  1. Is there anyone who could imagine our life now adays without all the technology? I certainly couldn't. I would certainly miss my computer and my cell phone, but I'm not sure we wouldn't be better off if we'd never had them. Life has certainly changed.
